Girls' Brigade New Zealand runs two core programmes for girls aged 5-17

 

Girls' Brigade Companies are inter-church groups run in a local church facility.  

IFG (Iconz4Girlz)  Units are run by a local church in their church facility.

 

 

 

Weekly programmes after school or in the early evening during term time 

 

Both programmes include opportunities to enjoy high activity pursuits, calmer crafts activities, and everything in between: camping, make up sessions, sleepovers, games, dance, horse riding, life skills, photography, music, first aid, cooking, pet care, crafts, spiritual development and sports.

 

 

 

Girls’ Brigade is worldwide

 

There are currently 59 Girls’ Brigade countries from Anguila to Zimbabwe.  Being part of an international family provides opportunities to be included in international events such as training courses and camps. 

 

Girls’ Brigade in New Zealand enjoys a special relationship with Girls' Brigades around the Pacific through the GB Pacific Fellowship which includes Tonga, American Samoa, Australia, Tuvalu, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea and Niue.
